Law with Depth
Making the invisible visible
Right, not just legal
Law originates in life. Even in Roman law, rules were derived from real-life situations to provide guidance. Today, the process is often reversed – and what truly matters can be lost: the individual, their environment, their interests.
Life cannot be forced into rigid frameworks. This is where my work begins. The starting point is always the situation itself: Who is involved? What goals, unspoken expectations, and dynamics are at play?
I always ask my clients first: “Why do you think the other side is acting this way?”
My goal is not to defeat the other side, but to achieve what is right – and therefore best – for my clients.
Managing Complexity: When Expansion Makes Sense — and When Simplification Matters
To resolve complex cases, one must look deeper. Behind contracts, disputes, or succession arrangements, there are often underlying forces: dependencies, power structures, and family dynamics.
I combine legal expertise with a systemic approach. Systemic work is a valuable tool because it reveals connections and uncovers what lies beneath the surface.
What may seem like opposites – legal precision and systemic thinking – actually complement each other. Both pursue the same goal: the best possible solution.
Between System and Individual Case: How Systems Thinking Expands Legal Principles
Every case is embedded in a network of interests, relationships, and structures. Sustainable legal solutions therefore require more than addressing symptoms – they demand a deep understanding of causes.
Contradictions should be used productively rather than avoided. Often, the real issue lies beneath the visible conflict – and recognizing it opens the door to resolution.
My aim: to defuse conflicts rather than intensify them. To create outcomes that close files – not open new ones.Mein Anspruch: Konflikte zu entschärfen, statt sie zu verschärfen. Und Ergebnisse schaffen, die Akten schließen – und nicht neue eröffnen.
