Sports Law
Law That Understands Sport.
Sport has been an important part of both my professional and personal life for many years. From the very beginning of my legal career, I worked in sports-related environments — a connection I have maintained ever since and which forms the foundation of my specialized practice in sports law.
I primarily advise and represent individuals, including active and former professional athletes. At the same time, companies operating within the sports industry are also among my clients.
My focus lies on the legal matters of professional sports, particularly in the areas of contract law, media law, and arbitration proceedings.
As an active member of the Sports Law Working Group of the German Bar Association (DAV), I remain closely connected to current developments and challenges in the field of sports law.
The regular exchange with fellow practitioners provides fresh perspectives, sharpens my awareness of relevant issues, and allows me to respond to changes at an early stage. This enables me to offer advice that is current, practical, and strategically well considered.
The connection between law, sports, and media shapes my work just as much as my personal proximity to the industry — including through family-related insights into professional football and sports media production.
This combination of professional expertise and lived industry experience enables me to develop a deep understanding of the specific needs and structures within the world of sports.
